Overview

MomiPAY is a digital challan management system designed for educational institutions. It allows schools to generate, manage, and track student fee challans in a structured and centralized way.

System Structure

MomiPAY organizes data in a clear hierarchical format:

👤 Users

Each institution or authorized account is stored as a user in the system. Users own and manage their challans.

📄 Challans

Challans are nested under each user and stored in a dedicated sub-collection for fast access and integrity.

Challan Information

Every challan contains the following data fields:

Student Name — Full name of the student
Student Class — e.g., 10th Rose
School Name — Institution name
Billing Month — For which month the fee applies
Due Date — Payment deadline
Amount (PKR) — Fee amount in Pakistani Rupees
Unique Challan ID — Auto‑generated identifier
Payment Status — Paid or Unpaid
Creation Timestamp — When the challan was generated

If paid, the challan also records: paidAt timestamp and paidByEmail for traceability.

Core Features

1. Create Challan

Generate a new challan by providing student and billing details. A unique ID is assigned automatically.

2. View Challans

Retrieve all challans linked to your account with full details and payment status.

3. Search by ID

Instantly locate any challan using its unique challan ID.

4. Payment Update

Mark a challan as paid, and the status updates in real time across the system.
